Pre-Bexit petrol in the UK was 99 cents per litre.
Did the Poms think they were going to suddenly start growing their own petrol ?
Anyhoo, the more expensive fuel is, the more expensive it is to run a car, hopefully the more it gives pause to people thinking about alternatives to driving everywhere, especially the ridiculously short journeys most car trips consist of.
Congestion in the UK is at crisis levels; our behaviour has got to change.
It's either we change, or the climate will continue to.
